Creating standout portrait, commercial, sports & event imagery in the Garden Route
Hey, my name is Ruan Lamprecht.
I’m a professional photographer based in George, the heart of the Garden Route, a place I’m lucky enough to call my office.
I’ve spent the last 6 years chasing one thing: Creating images that actually stand out.
Not just photos, but shots that feel different, intentional, and impossible to ignore.

What I do in my free time.
Since photography found me in 2019 I loved shooting the world as I see it, and it's still not something I've grown out of. Client work is where I sharpen my craft, but this is where I stay curious. When I'm not shooting portraits, commercial work, or events, you'll usually find me out chasing something a bit quieter, either tracking birds through the bush or catching first light over a Garden Route landscape.
I dabble in fine-art and abstract work too, when something catches my eye that doesn't fit anywhere else. None of it's for a client or a brief, it's just me, still asking the same question that started all this back in 2019: what happens if I point the camera here instead? ㅤㅤㅤㅤ ㅤ
